The Hunter programmable thermostat comes in a range of models. Most of these models are of the conventional button-type design, and with one touch screen type. All of them, however, are Energy Star certified.

The button-type models are:
• Model 44110
• Model 44260
• Model 44360
• Model 44460
• Model 44668
The 44110 and 44260 are the basic models. They feature 5/2 day and 5/1/1 day settings respectively, but both allow vacation and temporary overrides. They have soft touch key pads and a filter monitor. The 44360 has all the above features and is further equipped with a daylight savings key and an energy monitor. Additional features of model 44460 are the auto season changeover and an Indiglo Night Light. Model 44668 comes with a remote sensor that allows the unit to measure temperatures not just in its immediate surroundings but in any room you wish. The daily scheduling of the last four models is 7 day, that is, you can vary the schedule from day to day.
The touch screen type Hunter programmable thermostat is Model 44860. It has a 7 day setting, and a backlit screen. It can work compatibly with virtually all air conditioning as well as heating systems, and it can be set to switch automatically from cool to heat mode and vice versa. This is called auto season changeover. Even from a distance, you can tell what mode is your system in by the color of the screen –red for heat and blue for cool.
